I just filled out my press pass application that I am going to send to SDPD. I really hope that it gets approved because I have been wanting this for months and a just plain tires of explaining who I am and why I am at these crash scenes. As if the big camera / camera bag and safety vest wasn't enough for law enforcement and fire. My only concern is that I have not been really paid for anything yet but I think the shots I am sending them demonstrates the need for a press pass. I also work with really cool editors that know if they vouch for me then I will bring them some sweet shots. One newspaper is also getting me one for their specific newspaper but first responders are familiar with this one.
